The Kiel-based manufacturer ELAC has been developing loudspeakers with the highest reproduction quality for many years. The company achieved its breakthrough with the development of a unique loudspeaker, the JET tweeter. This loudspeaker has a number of advantages over conventional loudspeaker membranes, including almost inertia-free and high-resolution music reproduction. However, this posed completely new challenges for the woofer and midrange driver, which had to work considerably faster and more precisely in order not to lose the tonal 'connection' to the tweeter. ELAC has now based its development on this and today presents a large number of unique loudspeakers, which are valued not only for their outstanding sound but also for their enormous processing quality. High-quality finishes, small gaps, perfect fits and much more.

Every listening room, with its individual acoustic properties, ensures that a subwoofer stimulates the floor and walls to resonate uncontrollably - the precision of the bass reproduction sometimes suffers considerably as a result. Using the new, free app 'Sub Control', you can easily adjust your ELAC subwoofer 2050 perfectly to your listening room with your smartphone. The heart of the  ELAC subwoofer  2070.2 is the completely digital chassis - mechanical rotary controls are a thing of the past. A 600 watt Class D amplifier controls two 250mm high-performance membranes with extreme precision and control.

Requirements

The ELAC SUB 2070.2 can be connected to any surround or stereo amplifier that has one or two cinch preamp outputs.
